for the first 2 weeks i had my PS3 I couldn't for the life of me get by LaMotta. I was Boxing my buddy's face off, dropped him 3 times and he was cut and busted up and the very 1st time I go down (I had Hopkins BTW) I was out. My other gripe is how fukkin' ridiculously invulnerable they made Jake LaMotta.
I mean I guess that's somewhat realistic but I'd much rather work some technique. I've faced guys that couldn't box for shit but that keeps them at least half-way in the fight with those hail mary shots. I mean it should take more outta you than it does. I don't really care for the haymakers that much either.

Plus I hated that stupid 5 second parry that never happens in boxing.
if you had that style you didn't need strategy because you didn't run out of stamina and could throw 7 punch combinations all the time. the AI isn't challenging and career mode is one dimensional plus that sinister cross style was the most unbalanced punching style in the whole game. Other than the graphics the long appeal of round 3 was weak.
